Mini Food Service - Tackling Food Waste!
As we've been steadily growing and becoming more established in the lovely Worthing Community, we have decided to take our offering a step further!
Being part of various amazing anti-food-waste schemes, we are extremely fortunate to receive weekly donations of fresh fruit and veg. And those are ever so popular in our recurring food parcels! However, some weeks we do get an abundance of these items and to ensure they won't go to waste, we have started creating various exciting meals with them.
To continue supporting our fellow Worthing residents and at the same time raise vital funds for our Worthing Vegan Food Bank, we decided to expand our offering to a low-cost food service providing plant-based and nutritious selection of freshly cooked take-away meals whenever a surplus arises.
To order, simply email us at email@example.com and we will reply to you with donation instructions (cash upon pick-up or PayPal) and pick-up slot.
All items are fully pre-cooked for you to reheat (full instructions provided) and prepared in a kitchen with a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 and staff with a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety certification. All freshly cooked items will last up to 2 days in the fridge and can be frozen for up to 2 months.
